Vision/Mission

OUR VISION: Is of a world where people value cultures different from their own, are aware of global issues, are empowered to effect positive change and to becoming a leading organisation supporting community based development interventions in the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

OUR MISSION: Is to operate the Bojanala Kalafi Programme within the North West Province of South Africa in partnership with sustainable community based initiatives. Bringing community NGO's/CBO's under one umbrella to work side-by-side while sharing perspectives and fostering cultaral understanding.

PURPOSE: The Bojanala Kalafi Programme exisits to facilitate an integrated HIV/AIDS response in vulnerable communities within the North West Province of South Africa enabling them to implement appropriate and effective interventions to limit new infections  and mitigate the impact of the epidemic.

INTERGRITY: We commit to ensuring the safety, flexibility, professionalism, transparency, excellence of the Bojanala Kalafi Programme, by guaranteeing that 100% of all funds received will go towards the success of the Bojanala kalafi Programme. 

EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES: BKP has recognised that people with disabilities, ethnic groups and others who may be disadvantaged need help and support. Of particular importance within the Bojanala District is the inability of those living in rurally isolated areas to have equality of access to services provided. BKP will aim to seek positive ways to promote the the services of the Bojanala kalafi Programme throughout the Bojanala District.

OBJECTIVE: (1) To equip the Bojanala Kalafi Programme Projects with the necessary resources and support to implement programmes for their work around vulnerable communities affected/infected by HIV/AIDS and the mitigation of its impact: (2) To develop the skills base within targeted NGO/CBO's to enable them to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate their work effectively: (3) To build the organisational capacity of NGO/CBO partners for good governance and long-term sustainability.

THESE OBJECTIVES ARE ACHIEVED BY: (1) Providing funding to the Bojanala kalafi Programme Projects for programme implementation: (2) Building the organisational strength of the Bojanala kalafi Programme Projects through s stuctured mentoring and capacity building programme.
